This is a presentation I gave at the Software Association of Oregon’s quarterly Edge Forum. It’s a continuation of the Blogging for Business Presentation I recently gave, but focuses more on the benefits of social networking and social media and its value to businesses.

Hey Rob,
Excellent presentation and much aligned with those done by Frank Arrigo on the same topic.
A lot of companies dismiss the importance of blogging and the way it actually can help not only spreading the name of the company, but also to make people aware of what is done around the company.
A lot of people has gotten in touch with eachother from visiting blogs so the social aspect is pretty obvious, yet corporates in many instances, discourage their staff from blogging….what makes them take this stance is beyond me!
Excellent i say..nice!
