Just in time for the political season MSNBC launches a new Community Server blog First Read: The Day in Politics. It looks like they have several editors updating the blog every couple of hours.

It's definitely great to see news organizations using blogs more and more as the tool to communicate with their audiences. I'm sure newspapers are hating this since news gets published immediately instead of once a day.
